Where is the benefit?

There’s a lot of chain ‘rattling’ and desk ‘pounding’ in the halls of Congress about ‘benefits’, so how about a real simple one that would benefit ‘workers’ and the public equally. It’s simple, a worker who test ‘positive’ for the Wuhan (COVID-19) automatically gets 4 weeks unemployment at the State level (the normal amount for that category) plus a 50% ‘subsidy’ from the Federal fund. The worker can take a month off to recover, or get medical attention, can’t be fired or replaced, and is not forced to stay on the job, or face starvation. (In fact, the worker would be required to stay home, and self-isolate) When you go into a business and there is a clerk coughing and sneezing their head off, you wonder why something of this order hasn’t been enacted. The reason; far to obvious for ‘government thinkers’.
