What's in a name?
In February 2020 the Director of The WHO, (the World Health Organization) made a big switch on how ‘new’ diseases, or pandemics, are named. The traditional ‘protocol’ for naming was based on a location, a person, or animal. Like ‘swine flu’, ‘bird flu’ or Ebola, after a river, or the Wuhan, after the place it was originated. The WHO guy said we are not going to use that anymore, because it places a ‘stigma’ on the subject, the Wuhan became COVID-19. Do you suppose China had anything to do with that change in protocol? LOL. But where is the sanctimonious WHO guy with the monkey pox? Is he going to let those poor monkeys continue to be stigmatized? Especially since there is no mystery where it came from or how it is spread. Although the Queers might object, I suggest the WHO could rename ‘monkeypox’ to be known as the ‘Leap Frog Disease’.
Have a nice day!
