The True Politician!

Now a somewhat faded memory, we were just discussing the first time we ever heard from Barack Obama. He appeared on the David Letterman show, and after a few minutes of ‘idle banter’ between the two, Obama announced he was a candidate for president of the United States. What were his ‘golden aspirations’ for making this bold, history making move? He was going to clean up the ‘swamp’, meaning, of course, Washington DC, the Congress, and the lobby system. He fooled millions of people, including me, and as we all know now, Barack Obama is the swamp! Live and learn, very expensive lessons!
