The Nation of Israel?

At the end of World War Two, with the Holocaust fresh on everyone’s mind, a few do-gooders, lead in America by former allied commander in Europe, Dwight D Eisenhower and former Secretary of the Treasury, Henry Morgenthau Jr., decided to create a homeland for the Jews. Although through history the Jews had never owned the territory of Palestine, except in the Bible, they decided to give them a large piece of Palestine, around the port of Tel Aviv. The UK, who already occupied Palestine, was appointed ‘peacekeepers’. The Jews who arrived immediately tried to expand the territory, and waged actual war against the British troops who tried to control them. The atrocities committed by the Jews against the ‘peacekeepers’ were too much for the Brits, they threw in the sponge, and pulled out. The nation of Israel, on stolen property, in direct conflict with the charter of the brand-new United Nations, was born. The date was May 14, 1948. A terrible mistake, from good intentions, was created. The grief, and bloodshed will never end. There should have never been a nation of Israel.
