Living with the Virus!
What’s the difference between ‘reasonable controls’, and a ‘lock down’? The difference is a well-planned program to contain the spread of the Wuhan Virus as much as possible, and still maintain business ‘necessities’. There has never been a ‘plan’, just shoot from the hip, then convene the legislature to create a CYA. Face masks are # one, but all they do is limit the ‘spread’ of breathing, coughing and sneezing to about a 3 foot radius, instead of a 10 or 12 foot radius. That’s a tremendous gain toward ‘control’. Face ‘shields’ might be a better choice, they do the same thing, but don’t impair your ability to breath or speak. Social distancing, in the workplace, or any place people need to gather, maintain this ‘space’ with a uniform formula of so many people for x square feet, like one person for 300 square feet of floor space. A regimen, not a casual ‘once in a while’, of cleaning sidewalks, store fronts and doors should be in place. But how about the fun stuff? Sports events and ‘fun’ gatherings, like going down to the bar? When people are dying, some of these things have to be put on ‘hold’. During World War Two, all of the fun things were ‘suspended’ for 3 and a half years. If you want to come out winners, this is what you have to do! Have a nice day!
