GMO Apples?
Our 3 horses love apples, an apple simply makes their day! But there are apples that are genetically modified so they don’t turn brown when cut open, the variety I am referring to is Cosmic Crisp. It doesn’t turn brown when cut into, even after 4 or 5 days, but what makes me wonder is the fact my horses won’t eat them, in fact if they get a piece in their mouth they will spit it out. We have eaten several of them, the Cosmic Crisp, and they are crisp, but rather bland taste wise, but the horses seem to know something we don’t know!
